Burglary occurs at Wysox barber shop

An unknown offender entered The Barber Shop with Shear Perfection on Jenny Lane in Wysox and taking cash and a firearm, according to police. Police say the burglary occurred on Nov. 26 or Nov. 27.

Anyone with information can contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda at 570-265-2186 or leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS.

Towanda woman is victim of credit card fraud

A 63-year-old female from Towanda is claiming to have been a victim of credit card fraud, according to police. Unknown individuals are alleged to have made several unauthorized purchases totaling approximately $5,000 between July 2012 and November 2012 using the victim's credit card information.

These individuals also attempted to open credit accounts in the victim's name without her knowledge, police said. The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate this complaint.

Teen injured in Cherry Twp. accident

Michelle D. Clark, 46, of Lock Haven was in a single vehicle accident December 2 in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, police said. Clark was travelling east on State Route 4024 in a 2009 Nissan Altima when she failed to stop at the intersection of State Route 220, crossed both lanes, and passed over an embankment, police said.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Clark's only passenger, a 14-year-old female from Lock Haven, suffered minor injuries. Clark sustained no injuries. Both occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

Police say there was fog at the time of the accident and no stop sign was posted at the intersection. No charges were filed.

Towanda woman charged with possession of drug paraphernalia

Jimmiejo Grover, whose last known address was in Towanda, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. The charge stems from a June 21 incident, in which the 26-year-old Grover was found with a glass pipe which contained marijuana residue, according to the state police.

Grover has been sent a summons to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 12.

Towanda resident charged with theft

Mitch Cassidy Johnson, 19, of Towanda is accused of stealing a 12 volt Case tractor battery valued at $175 from his grandfather, Larry Dale Lane of Monroe Township, according to police.

Johnson stole the battery from Lane's garage on Oct. 8, police said.

As a result of these actions, Johnson has been charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property, state police said.

Johnson received $11.60 for the battery when he sold it as scrap to Towanda Iron & Metal in Towanda, police said.

Johnson told police that he believed the battery was no good and thought that his grandfather would not care if he removed it from his garage, according to a court document that the state police filed in Towanda District Court.

Johnson, who lives on Delaney Hill Road, has been sent a summons to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 21.

One vehicle accident

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda, George Gerould Jr., 64, of Rome was operating a 2002 GMC Sierra at 7:41 a.m. on Nov. 27 on Allis Hollow Road in Herrick Township when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a rock in a ditch on the eastbound berm.

Man charged with trespass

John W. Kirchner, 39, has been charged by Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda with criminal trespass and criminal mischief stemming from an incident at 7:03 p.m. on Nov. 26 on Steam Mill Hollow Road in Tuscarora Township. Kirchner was placed in the Bradford County jail.

Mailbox damaged

A 41-year-old Gillett resident told Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda that someone damaged his mailbox between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 29 along Burnham Road in Ridgebury Township.

- Burglary/B&E-Res: At 8:30 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 6500 block of River Road. Unknown suspect/s gained entry into the victim's residence and at this time nothing has been reported stolen. Victim reported his vehicle was moved several feet.

AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 25 calls between Nov. 12 to Nov. 18.

On Nov. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 700 block of Main Street. A driver was issued traffic citations following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to a dispute between a landlord and a tenant in the 800 block of Main Street.

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to 80 calls between Nov. 26 to Dec. 2.

On Nov. 26, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a reported theft. A report of an intoxicated man sent officers to Little League Boulevard. Officers also responded to investigate a domestic dispute in progress in a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

On Nov. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Storrs Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Main Street.

On Nov. 28, officers were dispatched to assist animal control with a problem in the 400 block of Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 100 block of North Main Street. Officers also responded to a reported retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street.

On Nov. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate an attempted burglary in the 700 block of Main Street. A property theft complaint sent officers to the 100 block of East High Street.

On Nov. 30, officers were dispatched to investigate domestic disputes in homes on East Taylor and North Main streets.

On Dec. 1, officers were dispatched to investigate two retail theft complaints at the Walmart on Main Street. A domestic abuse complaint sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Union Street. Officers also responded to investigate a property theft complaint in the 600 block of Union Street.

On Dec. 2, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a reported hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. A complaint of all terrain vehicle causing a disturbance in the roadway sent officers to the are of Union Street and Keyser Avenue.

On Nov. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint from a home on Fitzgerald Drive. Officers were dispatched to a child custody dispute in the 400 block of Main Street. A motor vehilce accident sent officers to the 500 block of Birney Avenue.

On Nov. 13, officers were diaptched to a hit-and-run accdient at the Shoppes at Montage.

On Nove. 14, officers were dispatched to a motot vehilce on Seventh Street and the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.

On Nov. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at Gerrity's on Birney Avenue. A reported domestic dispute sent officers to the 1300 block of Springbrook Avenue.

A harassment complaint sent officers to the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. Officers responded to investigate a theft complaint in the Kmart on Birney Avenue. Activated alarms sent officers to Shoppes Boulevard and two loations on Birney Avenue.

Underage drinking

MOUNT CARMEL - Raymond F. Wywadis III, 20 of 106 N. Beech St., Mount Carmel, was cited by borough police Officer Jason Drumheller for underage drinking following an incident in the 500 block of West Third Street at 2:49 a.m. Nov. 17.

Police were conducting a follow-up investigation on an unrelated call when they observed three males on the sidewalk in the 500 block of West Third Street. At that time, police spoke to Wywadis, who allegedly possessed a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and displayed other signs of intoxication.

The citation was filed through Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, of Mount Carmel.

Criminal mischief

KELLY TOWNSHIP - Rey Delgado-Rios, 22, of Milton, has been cited by state police at Milton for criminal mischief for allegedly using a hammer to strike the windshield and front driver's side window on a 1998 Ford Windstar owned by Miguel Pagan, 66, of Sunbury, causing approximately $400 damage.

Police said the vandalism occurred at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the parking lot at Walmart on AJK Boulevard in this Union County township.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Borough police Officer Jason Drumheller cited Amber N. Eisenhard, 19, of Shamokin, for harassment after allegedly harassing another individual via cell phone calls and text messages at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 19, despite being warned by police to cease contact. The citation was filed with Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, of Mount Carmel.

Retail theft

MOUNT CARMEL - Two male juveniles, a 14-year-old from Mount Carmel and a 16-year-old from Lykens, were cited for retail theft following an incident at 3:23 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Dollar General Store on South Market Street.

Borough police Officer Matt Dillman cited the two after the 14-year-old stole a pair of gloves, valued at $3.18, and then later gave them to the 16-year-old outside the store.

Waverly man arrested on warrant

Waverly Village police have apprehended a Waverly man sought in relation to a Nov. 17 domestic incident, according to information from village police.

Police arrested Buck Lee Bates, 28, Sunday at his Fulton Street residence on a warrant for his arrest, police said. Bates is alleged to have attacked a female victim during the domestic incident, causing injury, police said.

Police charged Bates with criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment and assault in the third degree, according to police.

Bates was arraigned Sunday in Village of Waverly court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail without bail to await further court action, police said.

Wyalusing woman charged with corruption of minors

Jessica Susanj, 35, of Wyalusing was recently charged with corruption of minors after sending inappropriate text messages to a 17-year-old male, police said. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the text messages were sent between May 1 and Oct. 26.

Mailbox vandalized in Rome Twp.

A mailbox on North Rome Road in Rome Township was vandalized between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 3, police said. The victim, a 41-year-old Rome resident, reported that a person used an unknown object to cause the damage.

The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

Douglas Wayne Williams, 45, of Towanda, by the state police, on Oct. 10, on State Route 1043/Sheshequin Road. Williams has also been charged with failing to stay in his lane. According to police, a blood test revealed Williams' blood alcohol content was .23 percent on the day of his arrest. Williams, who lives on Vails Lane, has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Jan. 2 for a preliminary hearing.

Brandon James Hickox, 26, of Towanda, by the Towanda police, on Nov. 4, on the Merrill Parkway in Towanda. Hickox has also been charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving on the wrong side of the road, and careless driving. According to police, a blood test revealed Hickox's blood alcohol content was .218 percent on the day of his arrest. Hickox has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 26 for a preliminary hearing.

Dalton D. Bacorn, 20, of Towanda, by the Towanda police, on Oct. 22, on Main Street in Towanda. Bacorn has also been charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving, and failure to use his turn signals. According to police, a blood test revealed Bacorn's blood alcohol content was .197 percent on the day of his arrest. Bacorn has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 14 for a preliminary hearing.

Justin Kyle Barrowcliff, 24, of Towanda, by the state police, on July 26, on the Merrill Parkway in Towanda. Barrowcliff has also been charged with driving with a suspended licence, failure to stay in his lane, driving with an open container of alcohol, and failure to use his seatbelt. According to police, a blood test revealed Barrowcliff's blood alcohol content was .181 percent on the day of his arrest. Barrowcliff has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 21 for a preliminary hearing.

Robert Charles Fansler Jr., 50, of Wyalusing, by the state police, on Oct. 25, in Albany Township. Fansler has also been charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and careless driving. According to police, a blood test revealed Fansler's blood alcohol content was .302 percent on the day of his arrest. Fansler has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 21 for a preliminary hearing.

Llyod Jacob Bailey, 27, of Towanda, by the state police, on Oct. 13, on South Main Street in Towanda. Bailey has also been charged with driving without registration, failure to stay in his lane, and careless driving. According to police, a blood test revealed Bailey's blood alcohol content was .12 percent on the day of his arrest. Bailey has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Jan. 2 for a preliminary hearing.

Davaajargal Grish, 37, of Monroeton, by the state police, on Oct. 18, on Main Street in Towanda. Grish has also been charged with failure to stay in his lane, and careless driving. According to police, a blood test revealed Grish's blood alcohol content was .125 percent on the day of his arrest. Grish has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on January 16 for a preliminary hearing.

Towanda male charged with theft

Tyler John McCormick, 20, of Towanda was recently charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition relating to an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township the night of Aug. 24.

According to police, McCormick is accused of stealing two sterling silver wedding rings, a portable radio scanner, and a cell phone from his mother, Shirley McCormick, of Wysox. The items are valued at approximately $400. The wedding rings were discovered by police at Joe's Second Hand Store, located on Main Street in Towanda, according to police. A receipt was produced that showed Tyler McCormick had received $30 in exchange for the rings, police said.

Tyler McCormick has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Dec. 14 for a preliminary hearing.

Towanda male charged with possession of a controlled substance

Michael J. Labor, 22, of Towanda was charged by Towanda Police with possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness relating to a Nov. 7 incident on Mix Avenue in Towanda. According to police, Labor was found with two Clonazepam pills in his pocket without having a prescription for them.

Labor has been sent a summons to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on December 26 for a preliminary hearing.

Accident occurs in Towanda

Erica Stroud, 29, of Towanda was uninjured when she was involved in a recent motor vehicle accident in Towanda Borough, police said.

Stroud, who lives on Mechanic Street, was driving south on North Fourth Street when she failed to come to a stop at the intersection with Elm Street. Stroud's Ford Focus traveled off the right side of the road and struck the end of a guardrail, causing damage to her right front tire and the area around the tire.

The accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

SHAMOKIN - David A. Demarco, 23, of 429 W. Second St., Mount Carmel, was charged by Patrolman Shane Mowery with loitering and prowling at night relating to a Nov. 19 incident in the Bunker Hill area.

Simple assault

HARTLEY TOWNSHIP - Jeffrey Auman, 49, of Millmont, was charged by state police at Milton with simple assault for allegedly cutting Kevin Miller, 39, of Millmont, with a knife during an altercation at 6 p.m. Monday at 119 Maple St., Apt. 1, Hartley Township.

Police said Miller suffered a non-life threatening injury.

Coins stolen

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP - State police at Milton are investigating a burglary at the residence of John Snook, 55, of Lewisburg, that occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in this Union County township.

Police said a thief stole three plastic jugs containing various coins valued at $600 from 113 Arrowhead Lane.

Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call state police at Milton and reference incident number F06-1162498.

Two injured

BLYTHE TOWNSHIP - Amanda Marie Mason, 23, of Pottsville, and her passenger, Lyndsey Taylor Stevenosky, 21, of Minersville, suffered lacerations in a one-car crash early Thursday morning on Tumbling Run Road in this Schuylkill County township.

State police at Frackville reported Mason was driving a white 2009 Chevrolet Malibu east at 4:15 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a left curve in the road, causing her vehicle to exit the south shoulder and strike a tree with its front passenger side. The auto then went back onto the road, where it rolled onto its roof before coming to rest and blocking both lanes.

The auto sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

Mason and Stevenosky were transported by ambulance to Schuylkill Medical Center South in Pottsville.

Police said Mason was suspected of driving under the influence and submitted to a blood-alcohol test. Police said charges are pending upon results of the blood-alcohol test.

Crash follow-up investigations on Routes 14/514 and Southside Road

On Monday, Dec. 10 starting at 9 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police will conduct a crash reconstruction investigation on Route 14 at the intersection with Route 514 in Troy Township, Bradford County.

During this time, traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with traffic flow controlled by PennDOT flaggers. The lane restriction is expected to be in place until around noon.

If the reenactment team has time on Monday, they will do another crash reenactment, this one on Route 3008 (Southside Road) in Leroy Township.

For this investigation, Southside Road will be closed about one mile east of Crofut Road. Traffic will be detoured via Route 3010 (Mill Street), Route 414 and Route 3001 (Allens Crossing Road).

If the reenactment on Southside Road is not done on Monday, it will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 12 starting at 9 a.m.

Towanda man arrested

A Towanda man was recently arrested by Sayre borough police on a charge of criminal trespass.

According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Brian Carey, 31, was also charged with loitering and prowling at night time and disorderly conduct.

Police said Carey entered a garage on Draper Street Nov. 29 and was seen behind several properties on the street without permission from property owners.

Carey was arraigned Nov. 30 by Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bail. Carey's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 4.

Man arrested for paraphernalia possession

A Towanda man was recently incarcerated by Sayre borough police on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to papers filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Brian Carey, 31, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Police said Carey was found hiding under and around vehicles Nov. 14 in a parking lot at Robert Packer Hospital. Carey was found with bath salts and a hypodermic needle in his possession, police said.

Carey was arraigned Nov. 30 by Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail. Carey's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 4.

Heroin possession charge

An Athens man was recently arrested by borough police on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Matthew Ryan Malorzo, 26, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said officers responded to a North Street residence early Dec. 3 after an informant told police Malorzo had heroin there. Police seized approximately 18 bags of heroin, 4 grams of marijuana and hypodermic needles during a search of the property, police said.

Malorzo was arraigned Dec. 3 by Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Malorzo's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 11.

Man charged with burglary

A Sayre man was recently arrested by borough police on a charge of burglary.

According to papers filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Joshua R. Uhl, 21, was also charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Uhl entered an East Lockhart Street residence Dec. 1 and removed chuck roasts, sausage links, ground beef, ground sausage and steaks from a freezer. Uhl then attempted to sell the meat to neighbors, police said. The value of the meat was estimated at between $60 and $100, police said.

A tube used to smoke synthetic marijuana was found on Uhl's person, police said.

Uhl was arraigned Dec. 1 by Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Uhl's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 11.

Sayre man charged with luring child

A Sayre man was recently arrested by borough police on a charge of luring a child into a motor vehicle or structure.

According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Jerry D. Copas Jr., 50, was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said Copas invited a nine-year-old girl into his home to do a job in exchange for cash. The girl then entered Copas' home before exiting shortly thereafter, police said.

Copas was arraigned Dec. 4 and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Copas' preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 11.

Police arrest Barton man

A Barton man was recently arrested by Tioga County, N.Y. sheriff's deputies on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

According to information from the sheriff's office, Kenneth A. Howes Jr., 28, was also charged with switching plates, operating an unregistered vehicle, plate lamp violation, driving without a license and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Police said the charges resulted from a vehicle stop on Oak Hill Road near Route 17C in Barton.

Howes was issued tickets to appear Dec. 11 in Town of Barton court, police said.

Assault

MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - A Mount Carmel woman was arraigned Wednesday on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, false imprisonment, false reports to law enforcement authorities and harassment relating to a fight between her and another woman Nov. 1, according to Mount Carmel Township Police.

Patrolman David Stamets reported that Jill Marie Fisher, 33, of 477 W. Saylor St., Atlas, allegedly attacked Heather Frank near the Atlas Fire Company at 4:55 p.m.

Fisher also allegedly accused Frank of stealing merchandise from Walmart, police said.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12 in front of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, Mount Carmel.

False reports

RALPHO TOWNSHIP - A Shamokin woman was arraigned Wednesday on charges of false alarm, false reports to law enforcement agencies and fictitious reports relating to an incident on Nov. 16 at 1134 W. Valley Ave., according to Ralpho Township Police.

Patrolman Chris Dailey reported that Heather Ann Scott, 35, of 801 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, allegedly called 911 to report that her boyfriend, Joe Kuczynski, had stolen her car.

When Dailey arrived, he said Scott was visibly intoxicated and difficult to understand.

During the interview, Kuczynski returned and told police that Scott had given him the keys and permission to take the car.

Scott then changed her story and said she thought he should have been back by now, police said.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12 in front of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, Mount Carmel.

Endangerment

MOUNT CARMEL - A Mount Carmel man was arraigned Wednesday on charges of endangering the welfare of a child in relation to a Nov. 16 incident in the borough, according to Mount Carmel Borough Police.

Patrolman David Donkochik said Peter Joicham Amarose, 29, of 233 S. Poplar St., is accused of leaving his girlfriend's children, a 1-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, home alone while he went to the Dollar General Store.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12 in front of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, Mount Carmel.

Drugs

MOUNT CARMEL - A Mount Carmel man was arraigned Wednesday on charges of delivering heroin, three counts of criminal conspiracy, three counts of possession, criminal use of communication facility and driving while suspended in relation to a Jan. 21 drug bust involving a confidential informant, according to the Mount Carmel Police Department.

Patrolmen Matthew Dillman and Shane Reamer, who are also on the Northumberland-Montour Drug Task Force, reported that James M. Ball, 43, with a last known address of 233 S. Oak St., Mount Carmel, sold several bags of heroin to a confidential informant.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15 in front of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, Mount Carmel.

Woman faces drug paraphernalia charges

Paris Shanon Fulton-May, 24, of Canton, faces a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 26 before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy on charges of possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance and use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia for an incident that occurred at her residence at 5 p.m. Aug. 10, according to court papers.

The papers note that a search was conducted at her residence, and she is accused of possessing hypodermic needles, metal spoons, and plastic baggies for the purpose of injecting illegal controlled substances into the body.

Wilcox said she was sent a summons.

The following incidents were reported by the Petersburg Bureau of Police during the period of Nov. 30-Dec. 4. Incidents are preliminary in nature and are subject to change after investigation.

- Robbery (Individual): At 9:42 a.m. Nov. 30 at Hazel Street. Summary: Victim stated that he responded to the location to assist an acquaintance with rent, and was robbed by two individuals as he exited his vehicle.

- Aggravated Assault: At 1:50 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 900 block of Melville St. Summary: Victim advised she was assaulted by an unknown female while working at a social club. Her injuries were treated at the hospital but were not life-threatening.

- Robbery (Individual): At 9:05 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 100 block of S. Sycamore St. Summary: Two victims said they were approached by two suspects w/handguns. Victims were ordered to get on the ground and were then robbed. One of the victims stood up and was shot in the leg.

- Vehicle Accident: At 8:50 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 1400 block of Farmer St. Summary: Male, 22, was operating an off-road motorcycle when he was struck by a vehicle making a turn. The motorcycle was not street-legal and had no lights. Subject was taken to SRMC and then transferred to VCU Medical Center. He faces numerous charges including driving on a suspended license.

Police release suspect vehicle description in Thanksgiving hit and run

CHESTERFIELD - The Chesterfield County Police Department continues to investigate a Thanksgiving Day hit and run crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.

Roscoe Baker Jr., 58, of the 1500 block Armfield Road in Richmond, was struck by a vehicle while crossing the westbound lanes of Hull Street Road, near the intersection with Turner Road, shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22. Baker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the striking vehicle may have been a pearl white Chrysler sedan. The vehicle involved in the crash would have front end damage.
