Vehicle strikes tree in Forks Twp.
Carolynne Lasuer, 36, of Shunk was uninjured in a recent motor vehicle accident in Forks Township, Sullivan County, police said.
Lasuer, who was traveling south on snow-covered Molyneux Hill Road, lost control of her vehicle on a sharp, right curve, state police said.
The vehicle left the east side of the roadway and struck a large tree. Lasuer was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
The accident occurred at 1 a.m. on Feb. 15.

Someone traveling west on Bridge Street Hill Road in Towanda Township lost control of his or her 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo on a right curve, which resulted in the vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a tree, stat police said.
The driver fled the scene after the accident, which occurred at 10 a.m. on Feb. 7 in the area of the intersection with Mahoney Road.

Items stolen in Wysox Twp.
Someone stole a black benchmade knife and a black Casio G-Shock watch from a hotel room at the Comfort Inn, 898 Golden Mile Road, Wysox Township, state police said.
The knife and watch belong to Andrew Sprester of Bradford, Pa.
The theft occurred between 12:01 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Jan. 31.

"Your name is not required, just your information," the state police said in a press release that they issued about the theft. "Up to $2,000 cash reward if your information results in an arrest."
Theft occurs outside Wysox Twp. building
A quantity of road cinders was stolen from the parking lot of the Wysox Township building, police said.
The theft occurred between 8 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 8.

Vandalism occurs in Monroe Borough
Someone threw a bottle at a vehicle that was parked at 795 Pennsylvania Ave., Monroe Borough,, which damaged the vehicle's rear window, state police said.
The vehicle belongs to Siulman Warney Lebron, 27, of Yonkers, N.Y.
The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:05 a.m. Wednesday.

Three injured in Wysox accident
Three people, including two Towanda residents, suffered moderate injuries in a recent motor vehicle accident on U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township, state police said.
Both vehicles that were involved in the accident were traveling west on Route 6.
The accident occurred in a snowstorm when a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, operated Dyonta M. Mulqueen of Shavertown, Pa., approached a 2003 Chevrolet that was in front of it, because the Volkswagen was traveling at a higher rate of speed, police said.
Mulqueen, who was traveling downhill at the time, was not able to slow down enough while sliding on the roadway, and the Volkswagen struck the rear of the Chevrolet, police said.
The Chevrolet, operated by Cory L. Walker of Towanda, traveled off the north side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Walker, 33, and his passenger, 48-year-old Bruce A. Reynolds of Towanda, were transported to area hospitals with moderate injuries.
A passenger in the Volkswagen, 28-year-old Amanda Reyes of Lake Ariel, Pa., was also transported to an area hospital with a moderate injury.
Mulqueen, 20, was uninjured.
The accident occurred at 1:50 p.m. on Feb. 23.
