Two cited for harassment in Towanda Twp.
Jeffrey Scott Thurston, 50, and Laurie Allen Wood, 57, both of Towanda, have been cited for harassment, police said.
The citations stem from an incident that occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at a location on Bridge Street Hill Road in Towanda Township, police said.
During the incident, Thurston and Wood got into an argument and then engaged in a physical confrontation, according to the state police at Towanda.
Counterfeit money used at N. Towanda store
Someone used counterfeit money to purchase merchandise at 4:47 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Dandy Mini Mart in North Towanda Township, state police said.

"Name not required, just your information," state police said in a press release that they issued about the incident. "Anonymous tips may pay up to $2,000."
Overton Twp. man charged with violating Meghan's Law
David Kenneth Meyers, 50, of Overton Township is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 20 in Bradford County Court on a charge of failure to comply with the registration requirements of sexual offenders, authorities said.
Meyers moved to Pennsylvania for several months ago, but failed to register with the Pennsylvania State Police as a sexual offender, state police said.
Meyers was initially arraigned on Nov. 22 by Athens Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on the failure to register charge. On that date, Meyers was sent to the Bradford County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Meyers' bail was reduced to $50,000 on Nov. 28.
Meyers waived his preliminary hearing in district court.
Therefore, his case has been transferred to Bradford County Court.
New Albany man charged with fleeing from police
Eric Dewayne Manuel, 35, of New Albany will face charges of fleeing from police and driving under the influence of alcohol at a preliminary hearing on Jan. 9 in Towanda District Court, police said.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred at approximately 5:13 a.m. on Nov. 3 in New Albany, police said.
State police said they responded at that time to a possible domestic dispute between Manuel and his girlfriend Emmy Jo Griswold at 715 Front St. in New Albany.
When police located Manuel on a motorcycle near the Front Street residence, he led them on a high speed chase on state Route 3004 that reached speeds of 85 m.p.h., police said.
The motorcycle left the roadway on a left-hand curve and came to rest in a ditch, police said.
State police said they transported Manuel, who had injuries, to Memorial Hospital in Towanda.
A test showed that the amount of alcohol in Manuel's blood was .14 percent, police said.
Manuel was also charged with several traffic violations stemming from the chase.
Manuel was arraigned by Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Nov. 21, and then released on non-monetary bail.
Manuel's preliminary hearing, which was originally scheduled for Nov. 28 in Towanda District Court, has been postponed to Jan. 9.
Vehicle strikes pole in Albany Twp.
Michael E. Walter Jr., 20, of Dushore was involved in a one vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 5 in Albany Township, police said.
Walter was traveling south on State Route 220 when he suddenly lost control of his 1988 Plymouth Horizon and struck a utility pole, police said.
Walter reportedly sustained no injuries but was later found to be unlicensed, according to police. State police said Walter will be cited accordingly for violations relating to the crash.
Theft occurs in Wyalusing
A 41 year old male from Dushore has filed a complaint with State Police regarding the theft of a license plate from his vehicle.
The incident reportedly happened between Nov. 1 and Dec. 5 in Wyalusing on the 200 block of Second Street, police said.

DUI charge
The following person was recently charged with driving under the influence in Bradford County:
Linsey Michelle Nichols, 31, of Rome, by state police, on Oct. 12 on state Route 187 in Rome Township. Nichols has also been charged with failing to drive in a single lane, driving at an unsafe speed, and careless driving. The charges stem from a one-vehicle accident on State Route 187 in which Nichols' vehicle stuck an embankment and then rolled over. A blood test later revealed that Nichols' blood alcohol content was .161 percent on the night of the arrest. Nichols has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on Jan. 15 for a preliminary hearing.
Man injured in Canton accident
Scott D. Lewis, 46, of Canton sustained minor injuries in a one vehicle crash on Dec. 8 at 10:10 a.m. on State Route 14 in Canton, police said.
Police said Lewis was traveling north on State Route 14 when he suddenly left the pavement, spun counter clockwise, and struck a business sign.
Lewis was charged with operating a vehicle at an unsafe speed, police said. Lewis was reportedly wearing his seat belt at the time of his accident.
Theft occurs in Cherry Twp.
An investigation continues into the report of a game camera and three tree stands being stolen in Cherry Township.
The victim, Richard Tyson, 69, of West Chester, Pa., reported the theft to have happened between Sept. 1 and Nov. 29.
Mailbox stolen in Cherry Twp.
A mailbox was stolen on Gainer Hill Road, Cherry Township between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 from Mel Simpson, of Dushore.
According to police, the mailbox and post was removed from the victim's driveway but was later recovered nearby. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the state police in Laporte at (570) 946-4610.
Pair charged with receiving stolen property
Two Canton residents have been charged with receiving stolen property following the reported theft of a gun from a car in Canton, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
The papers note that Bryan Morgan, 27, of Canton, and Monica Ellenberger, 30, of Canton, have been charged with receiving stolen property and theft of property lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake.
Canton police said the rifle belongs to Joshua Murchake, no age given, of Canton. He noticed the gun missing at 6 a.m. on Oct. 29 when he left for work.
According to an affidavit, Murchake's mother was told that Morgan had the gun. She stated that Ellenberger asked a man if he wanted to buy a gun that Morgan found on the railroad tracks.
The gun has since been returned.
Morgan and Ellenberger were placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $55,000 bail each, which was not posted.
Man faces hearing on disorderly conduct
Joshua Lee Ellenberger, 28, of Canton, faces a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. today before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy on charges of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and trespass for an incident that occurred at 8:22 p.m. Dec. 4 on North Center Street in Canton, according to court papers.
The papers note that Ellenberger grabbed on his ex-girlfriend's shirt and refused to let her go, forcing her to escape and run away, and followed her to her residence and refused to leave.
He was placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000 bail, which wasn't posted.
People face drug charges
Dereck Chad Baldwin, 34, of RR2 Troy, faces a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. today on drug-related and other charges for an incident that occurred around 10 a.m. Dec. 1 at 144 Laurel Lake Road in Columbia Township, in which he was called out of the residence by police after a perimeter was set up, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
Following the incident, a search was conducted of the residence, which yielded 22 9 mm bullets, one Glock magazine, two digital scales, a plastic syringe holder containing syringes, a piece of mirrored glass, a spoon with residue on it, a 1/3 measuring cup with residue in it, a pen made into pipe, a 7/32 Craftsman socket with residue on it, five empty plastic bags containing residue, a plastic bag with suspected marijuana, a plastic bag with suspected bath salts, and a glass smoking pipe with residue, the papers note.
Police were dispatched to the location, where Baldwin was in an argument over a cigarette lighter with Jennifer Baldwin, no age given, the occupant of the residence, according to an affidavit. Troopers found that Dereck Baldwin had an active warrant with the Bradford County Sheriff's Department. At Laurel Lake Road, troopers were met by Heather Lines, 32, of Towanda, who advised them that Dereck Baldwin was still inside and had a firearm. Other troopers were called to the scene, a perimeter was established, and the road was closed to traffic. Using a bullhorn, Cpl. Smith was able to persuade Dereck Baldwin to come outside of the residence, where he was taken into custody without incident. According to police, Dereck Baldwin had cut open the bed box springs in the room where the other items were found, and concealed a KelTec Sub2000 Luger firearm. The search was conducted most notably in the room where Dereck Baldwin's and Lines' property was located, said police.
Dereck Baldwin was charged with a violation of "persons not to possess/use/manufacture, control, sell, or transfer firearms," violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility, in lieu of $65,000 bail, which wasn't posted.
Police said Lines also had an active warrant with the sheriff's department. Lines was charged with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, and faces a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. today before Wilcox. She was placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility, in lieu of $55,000 bail, which wasn't posted.
Man faces hearing on theft
William Charles Harris, 23, of Troy, faces a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. today before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox on charges of receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle for an incident that took place at 4 p.m. Nov. 15 on Porter Road in Troy Township, according to court papers.
The papers note that Harris is charged with the theft of a Coach purse worth about $200 and $62 in cash in the purse, from a 2004 Ford Escape. Carleena Carnes, no age or address given, told police her purse was taken from the passenger seat of her Ford Escape while it was parked in her driveway.
